After removing dozens of photographs from their frames, I removed this one of my first true love, Quinn, loading film into a camera. It had been hanging on the wall next to my window for 10 years, and had been so drenched in sunlight over time that the paper behind the photo had been stained with a ghosted replica of the image. I gasped when I saw it. Some memories are harder to erase than others.
